When you say "apple"...
Bluntly, my stomach sticks out farther than my boobs. What's more, my breasts are fairly small, on a relatively large chest. This means "focus on the cleavage" solutions don't work for me.

The challenge: how to dress well for work and home. Trends of the moment - is there a way to wear them? Do I want to?
Stats:
  • 5'6"  255 lbs
  • chest: 52"
  • waist: 46.5"*
  • hips: 56"

Sewing and Buying
How do you dress an apple figure with classic style AND creativity?

Sewing provides an opportunity to choose the fabrics and styles you want, regardless of current trend...and offers a custom fit.

Buying clothes - especially neutral basics, is a welcome shortcut. Three cheers for online shopping!

Lastly, with a figure that's the opposite of an hourglass, photographs can't be beat for deciding how something really looks on you.
The Elephant in the Room
I have health issues related to my current weight/shape. So, I'm working towards a healthier shape. It may be a more rectangular shape...or maybe just a smaller apple.

There are certainly ladies of my weight/shape (or larger) who are perfectly healthy. You'll find no judgment here, and no diet/fitness posts either. There are already plenty of sites covering those topics.

Welcome, Apples
Be healthy, be happy, and
Enjoy getting dressed!
